Built and automatically tested to work with a keyboard alone or a screen reader

Every page starts with a “skip to content” link so keyboard users can bypass repeated navigation, every interactive element has a visible focus outline as you tab through the page, and every form field has a real, programmatically associated label and clear error messages rather than color- or icon-only cues. Data tables (like the dietary queue and clinical check-in lists) scroll independently of the page and remain readable and operable when the browser is zoomed in or the screen is narrowed to a mobile width.

This accessible foundation is shared across every staff, operator, and patient screen through a common component library, and is checked automatically on every change with an accessibility testing tool (axe) so regressions are caught before they reach users.
