Daily Clinical Check-Ins
The Clinical Check-Ins queue is where you review the daily check-ins your patients submit from their phone — pain, sleep, appetite, and comfort scores plus an optional note — so your team can see what needs attention during routine rounds.
Review the queue
- Sign in with a clinical account and open the Clinical check-ins page.
- Use Room/bed search, or filter by Unit, Status, or Flag, to narrow the list.
- Read each row’s answers and the auto-generated flag summary to see what the patient reported.
Each row also shows the patient’s current room or discharge status, resolved fresh every time you open the queue (see Stay Context & EHR Patient Locator).
Move a check-in forward
Select Mark reviewed once you have read a check-in, or Assign follow-up if it needs more attention. Both actions update the row’s status immediately, so the rest of your team can see at a glance what still needs attention, and both are recorded to the audit trail.
For patients
Your patients complete this from the “Daily check-in” page on their phone, answering pain, sleep, appetite, and comfort scores from 0 to 10, plus an optional note for anything else they want your team to know. The form is explicitly labeled as a non-urgent review queue, with a reminder to use the call button or contact staff for anything that needs immediate attention. A patient can only submit while actively checked in to a bed; otherwise they see a message that daily check-ins are available only while an inpatient stay is active.
