Facility & Zone-Labeled Time Display

NEPA never shows a bare, ambiguous timestamp. Every time and date on screen is either rendered in the hospital facility’s own local time zone or labeled with its zone, so there’s never a guess about which clock a timestamp refers to. This page covers which is which, for your IT and compliance review.

Facility-local times

Meal service times, meal order cutoff times, and the printed meal preference sheet all show the served meal’s date in the hospital facility’s own local time zone — important for a hospital group that operates across more than one time zone. This directly supports meal order cutoff times, which are configured and enforced against the facility’s own local clock, including correct handling across daylight-saving transitions (see Meal Order Cutoff Times).

Zone-labeled times in administrative views

Administrative and cross-hospital views show times labeled with their zone (for example “UTC”) instead of a facility-local time, since these views aren’t tied to a single facility’s clock. This includes the session list under Active sessions on your Account page, per-user audit history, staff last-login times, and operator screens covering integration status and signing-key history.
