Hospital Configuration Overview

The configuration overview gives hospital administrators a read-only summary of how your hospital is set up. Use it to confirm configuration — it is not an editing surface.

Open the overview

  1. Sign in with a hospital administrator account.
  2. Choose Hospital configuration in the header.

What the page shows

  • Hospital — your hospital’s name, default language, and region.
  • Identifier policy — how patients are identified on staff screens: whether room and bed are shown, and whether patient names are shown or hidden.
  • Meal service profiles — every profile defined for your hospital, with its description. Profiles that are no longer offered are marked Inactive.
  • Facilities — a table of every bed in your hospital (facility, unit, room, bed), the meal service profile that currently applies to it, and where that profile comes from.

How a bed’s effective profile is decided

Each facility has a default meal service profile. A unit, room, or bed can override that default; the most specific active override wins. The Source column shows which level applied: Facility default, Unit override, or Room or bed override.

If your hospital hasn’t been configured yet, the sections show an empty state instead — contact us to get your facilities and profiles set up.
