Dietary Self-Serve Cutoff Times

Dietary and nutrition staff can set their hospital’s meal-order cutoff times directly, without asking a hospital administrator to make the change for them.

Set your cutoff times

1. Sign in with a dietary account and open the Meal cutoff times page, reached from a link on the Dietary Queue.
2. Enter the cutoff time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Times are in your facility’s own timezone.
3. Select Save cutoffs. The new cutoffs apply immediately.

Override cutoffs for a single unit

When a ward runs on a different schedule than the rest of the facility, check Override next to that meal and set its own cutoff time and cutoff day (same day or day before). This is the same full editor hospital administrators use, including per-unit overrides; units without an override keep following the facility default.

Administrators keep their access too

This is additive: hospital administrators keep their own Meal Order Cutoff Times page and can still make the same changes as a fallback (see Meal Order Cutoff Times). Nothing is removed from the administrator’s side; the dietary team simply gains the ability to manage the timing they’re operationally responsible for directly.
