Dietary Queue

The Dietary Queue is the worklist for your hospital’s dietary and nutrition team. It lists every patient meal preference submitted for the facility, so you can see in one place what each patient asked for and which trays still need attention before service.

Find the entries you need

1. Sign in with a dietary account and open the Dietary queue page.
2. Search by room or bed to jump to one patient.
3. Filter the list to a single meal period — breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Each row shows the room and bed, the meal period, the patient’s meal-service profile, where the entry came from, and a plain-language summary of what the patient asked for.

Work an entry through its status

Every entry carries a status — new, ready for ticket, needs review, approved, missing, held, skipped, resolved, or changed. Move an entry to its next status with a single button click, so the whole team can see at a glance which trays still need attention.

Printing and cutoffs

The queue shows whether an entry’s preference sheet has already been printed (see Printable Meal Preference Sheet). If your account can configure cutoff times, the queue links straight through to the cutoff-times page.
