Role-Based Landing Page After Sign-In
After you sign in — whether by magic link or by finishing a two-factor check — you land on the page that matches who you are, not a generic homepage you then have to navigate away from.
Where you land
Your landing page depends on your role: a patient goes to today’s check-ins, a hospital admin goes to the User management page, a clinical reviewer goes to their check-in queue, a feedback manager goes to their queue, a dietary staffer goes to the dietary queue, and a platform operator goes to the operator console.
If you hold a role at more than one hospital, you see the hospital picker first (see Multi-Hospital Sign-In and Switching). If you still need to enroll in required two-factor authentication, that comes before anything else (see Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP) for Staff).
When this applies
This same rule is applied consistently everywhere a sign-in completes, including when you revisit the Login page while you’re already signed in — you’re bounced straight to your role-appropriate page rather than shown the sign-in form again. You’re never left on a page that doesn’t apply to your role.
